Industrial With A Twist
One of the biggest lighting trends is industrial but with elements of refinement and luxury. The pieces are inspired by warehouse lighting but feature things like rich tones, alternative metals and expert detailing. It’s a look that is likely to be around for years to come, simply because it’s so versatile and works particularly well in modern spaces with clean lines.

Metallics With Movement
Another popular trend is built on versatility and reflect the needs of each space that the lighting is in. While some pendant lights or chandeliers are large, immovable pieces that are part of your space, others are much more malleable. Every room is different, as each individual customer needs, these lamps and other forms of lighting are able to be moved and adjusted to fit the needs of a particular room. We tend to assume that lighting can really only come in one colour, when this isn’t the case at all. These types of lights work best in modern, minimalist settings thanks to their clean lines and simple aesthetic. They’re extremely versatile and can be as intricate as they are simple. This is going to be one of the most popular lighting options  since it can also work well in more contemporary spaces as well. This is the perfect option if you’re going for a mid-century aesthetic in your space.

Natural
This doesn’t just mean light from windows and skylights, but lighting whose shapes, colours and design are inspired by nature and bursting with floral, plant and leaf type motifs. This type of lighting will be soft and add some coziness in modern and otherwise minimalist spaces. From lamps to chandeliers, there are plenty of options to bring a much more natural aesthetic into any space via lighting.
