THE HOME RENOVATION CHALLENGE

Our North York client asked us to help her reimagine the home she had lived in for almost 20 years into a beautiful, functional space in a luxe, modern style. While this homeowner absolutely loved Georgian’s design-first approach that allowed her to see and select from two different artistic renderings of her first floor, she voiced concerns about packing and storing her valuables during the renovation.

But with the assurance that her belongings would be well cared for, and the ability to visualize her first-floor transformation down to the smallest details, she readily agreed to move forward.

GEORGIAN’S DESIGN-BUILD SOLUTION

Before we began any work, our VIP moving service carefully and securely packed away our client’s valuables before helping her get settled into her temporary residence.

We then got to work on creating a light and modern kitchen, living room, and primary bathroom with just the right amount of luxury.

In the kitchen, a crisp white colour palette brightens up the space while marble countertops, gold finishes, luxe lighting, and an enclosed refrigerator come together for an inviting, elegant effect. Plenty of seating around the island, lots of closed storage, and a double oven help make this kitchen perfect for entertaining.

To create continuity, we used the same colour palette, tones, and finishes in the living room, which features custom built-ins and a chevron-patterned tile surrounding the hearth.
Finally, in the ensuite, we combined a soaker tub, marble flooring, and a statement light to create the ultimate oasis for our client to unwind at the end of a busy day.

THE TRANSFORMATIONAL RESULT

With a smooth start to this project, we were privileged to earn our client’s trust and confidence to the point where she asked to add more work midway through. Blown away by our team’s talent, she absolutely loved the high-end details that really took this renovation to the next level.
